Corporate Responsibility Overview

Responsibility is at the heart of what we do.

Our vision at Enanta is clear: to transform the lives of patients with curative therapies. Our mission underscores how we accomplish this vision, through scientific excellence and imagination, and by leveraging our expertise in small molecule drugs to discover and develop groundbreaking medicines.

Our culture, which emphasizes excellent science and patient commitment, supports our vision and mission. Our C.R.E.A.T.E Core Values inform and embody this culture and commitment. These values include mutual respect through words and actions as well as working collaboratively in an inclusive environment to achieve common goals. We strive daily to abide by these values.

In 2022, we established a Corporate Responsibility Working Group to advance sustainable and ethical practices that align with our corporate vision. This group is co-chaired by Executive Director, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications Jennifer Viera and Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist Sean Place and has the support of the executive team. Its mission is to innovate in a manner that supports environmental stewardship, fosters social equity, and upholds the highest standards of governance. The Working Group has identified three near-term goals:

  • Raise awareness of, and continue to enhance, our commitment to corporate responsibility through robust reporting;
  • Streamline the process of tracking environmental, social and governance metrics; and
  • Explore new ways to reduce environmental footprint.

This Corporate Responsibility website is intended to connect, in one location, relevant information on our commitment to ESG disclosure. Our disclosures reflect what is important within the context of Enanta: a small U.S. organization with less than 200 employees, two leased buildings, outsourced manufacturing and out-licensed commercialization of our first two product candidates.

We invite you, our stakeholders, to review our Corporate Responsibility website and to reach out with any feedback.
