What is your role at Enanta?
I oversee Enanta’s supply chain operations and currently manage a clinical supply team responsible for handling the “end to end” process as well as global distribution and transportation of clinical trial materials.

Why did you join Enanta?
I joined Enanta because I felt a strong team environment within the CMC team during the interview process.  I was also impressed by the company’s pipeline. What made me come here versus another company was the impressive pipeline.  I felt the company was innovative and would strive to advance the clinical pipeline and be successful because of the robust financial backing.

How did you get into the clinical supply chain field?
I got into the clinical supply chain field 25+ years ago at Janssen Pharmaceutical by chance. There was an opportunity in clinical supplies, I took it and I’ve been doing it ever since.  I love the complex logistics, the challenges and the feeling of accomplishment.

What do you think is the most important challenge for the biopharmaceutical industry?
The challenges of product development:

  • Cost of doing business
  • Productivity
  • Quality
  • Patient safety

What would be the one word to describe the team at Enanta?
Innovative

What did you like to do when you were young that you wish you could do more as an adult?

I love to cook and entertain.
